We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Multi‑Skilled / Maintenance / Installation Crane Engineers to join our dynamic team, working in the Wrexham, Flintshire area.
About the Role
- Attend breakdowns, perform servicing, testing, and commissioning of overhead gantry cranes and associated lifting equipment.
- Support the installation of lifting equipment for a variety of customers across the North Wales / West England Area.
- Work with electrical and mechanical systems to ensure the highest quality of maintenance and service.
- Proven experience in preventative maintenance and repairs on cranes/industrial equipment, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Electrical engineering expertise with a solid understanding of three‑phase control systems.
- Mechanical experience with medium to large motors, electro‑mechanical brakes, and reduction gearboxes.
- Familiarity with PLCs and inverter control systems (desirable but not essential).
- A valid driving license and a willingness to travel (25% travel required).
- Competitive salary starting from £35,000/year (dependent on experience).
