We are working with a leading M&E Contractor to secure an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a flagship data centre project in South East London. The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the mechanical package on a large‑scale data centre project, ensuring delivery from pre‑construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing the full lifecycle of mechanical installations on a major data centre scheme
  • Coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders
  • Overseeing programme, cost control, and quality assurance
  • Driving health & safety standards across site operations
  • Leading commissioning and handover processes in line with critical environment requirements
  • Reporting into senior leadership and contributing to overall project strategy

About You

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E / building services
  • Strong background delivering data centre, mission‑critical, or large‑scale commercial projects
  • Experience working for a main contractor or principal contractor environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and commissioning processes
  • Ability to manage complex programmes in fast‑paced environments
