Electrical Design Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with experience in the design of LV or HV / 11kV infrastructure to work on projects for an organisation that distributes, delivers and maintains electricity supplies across the North East, Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities

• Studies and analysis of LV networks, including fault levels, voltage drop and network loading
• LV and HV cable and overhead line (OHL) design for reinforcements, replacements, connections and diversions on the underground and overhead networks
• Liaison with external customers / stakeholders

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Design Engineer for LV or HV schemes
• Qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related subject)
• Understanding of DNO, NERS and ERA requirements (beneficial)
• Driving licence (essential)
