We’re working with Green Planet Design Engineers – a forward-thinking building services consultancy known for delivering low-energy, low-carbon design solutions across commercial, residential, retail and international projects.
Founded in 2008, they have a reputation for innovative, practical engineering that balances performance, sustainability and usability.
Now, they’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of projects and help shape the next phase of growth.
This is a hands-on, client-facing position where you’ll lead mechanical design across a variety of high-end fit-out and refurbishment schemes.
You’ll be involved from concept through to completion, working closely with architects, clients, and internal teams to deliver smart, efficient MEP solutions.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading mechanical design on projects across commercial, retail and workplace sectors
- Supporting project delivery from feasibility through to commissioning
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (M&E, BIM, architects)
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development
- Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
What they’re looking for
- Strong background in building services / MEP consultancy
- Comfortable leading projects and dealing with clients directly
- Proficiency in industry tools (e.g. IES, Hevacomp, Revit/BIM)
- A mindset focused on efficiency, sustainability and long-term design
- Ideally working toward or already Chartered (CEng)
