Overview

Sizewell C is a nuclear power plant project in Suffolk designed, financed, constructed, commissioned, operated, maintained, and ultimately decommissioned. The company is currently in construction, focusing on delivering the project on time, on budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Location

Based in London on a hybrid basis with travel to Suffolk as required.

Contract

Permanent, full‑time.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary dependent on experience, plus benefits
  • Benefits include:
    • Annual Leave: 28 days per annum, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service, plus bank holidays.
    • Bonus: 5 % annual bonus.
    • Pension Contributions: Defined Contribution Pension Scheme with up to 7.5 % employee contribution and 15 % employer contribution.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Controls Engineer to join the Sizewell C team. You will support the successful delivery of this nationally significant infrastructure project by providing robust planning, scheduling, cost control and performance reporting. You’ll work within a multi‑disciplinary team, collaborating with engineering, construction and commercial teams to ensure project objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in project controls within major infrastructure, energy or construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 or similar
  • Experience with cost control, earned value management (EVM) and reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • A strong team player who communicates effectively with colleagues
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
