Technical Sales Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to inquiries and preparing quotations, primarily for electro-mechanical equipment such as electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and automation used in industrial and marine applications. The role also includes specifying retrofit solutions when original components are no longer available. This role is office based, with occasional light warehousing support.

Responsibilities

• Responding promptly to enquiries and dealing with suppliers
• Work closely and building relationships with customers and suppliers
• Provide technical support when needed

Experience required

• Several years working within an engineering environment

Skills and attributes required

• Electro-mechanical knowledge
• Interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic
• Work well under pressure
