Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Automotive Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to gain specialist knowledge within the automotive industry while developing new skills. The successful candidate will assist customers, support the parts department, and learn the fundamentals of automotive parts sales, service, and stock management.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels and orders.
- Support daily operations in the parts department, including stock organisation and cleanliness.
- Provide professional phone support for enquiries and order processing.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction.
- Learn about vehicle systems, part specifications and inventory management.
- Assist with processing transactions, returns and exchanges when required.
Experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic IT literacy for record-keeping and inventory systems.
- Experience in a retail or service environment is beneficial but not essential.
