An exciting opportunity has arisen for a junior Employment Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) to join a growing and dynamic legal team at a pivotal stage of its development.
This is a flexible role offering hybrid working with strong support and supervision for junior lawyers looking to develop their careers.
The team provides a fixed-fee employment law advisory service to SMEs and corporate clients, including a number of well-known brands. You will gain exposure to a broad mix of work, advising business owners and HR professionals on both day‑to‑day and complex employment matters.
Typical work includes:
- Absence management and performance issues
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Redundancy and restructuring
- TUPE
- Discrimination and Employment Tribunal claims
You will be given responsibility for your own client relationships early on, with appropriate support, and will be encouraged to deliver practical, commercial and solutions‑focused advice.
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–3 PQE) with experience in employment law
- Exposure to both contentious and non‑contentious matters
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic, client‑focused approach
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Keen to develop and build client relationships
