SEN Case Officer
Fully Remote
Rate: £280 per day (Umbrella)
Contract: 6 months
Start Date: End of April – End of October
Hours: 37 hours per week
A local authority is seeking experienced SEN Case Officers to support their current backlog of work. This fully remote role offers the chance to work across a range of statutory SEND responsibilities, including assessments, reviews, and case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with EHCPs.
- Conduct annual reviews and new assessments in line with statutory requirements.
- Draft and amend EHCPs, liaising with parents, schools, and external agencies.
- Present cases and contribute to decision‑making panels.
- Ensure all duties are carried out in compliance with council policies, SEND Code of Practice, and relevant legislation.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experienced in annual reviews and/or new assessments.
- Strong understanding of statutory SEND processes.
- Able to manage full casework responsibilities – this is not a role solely for completing reviews or assessments.
- Confident working independently in a remote setting.
