Juice Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a growing and forward thinking organisation in Cheltenham with the appointment of a Business Development Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established and ambitious business. The organisation is known for delivering clear and practical solutions to UK businesses, with collaboration, professionalism and long term partnerships at the heart of its approach.

This is a permanent, full time position based at the company’s modern Cheltenham head office. The role offers a competitive basic salary with uncapped commission and genuine scope for progression.

The day to day:

  • Proactively generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound activity and targeted research
  • Identify and engage prospective clients via telephone, LinkedIn, email and other relevant digital channels
  • Conduct detailed research using LinkedIn, media sources, press coverage and sector insights to identify new opportunities
  • Develop and nurture professional relationships with prospective clients, building credibility and trust
  • Accurately record and manage opportunities within the CRM system
  • Work closely with the Head of Department and Sales team to ensure a smooth and effective handover of qualified opportunities
  • Share insight and best practice with colleagues, contributing to a collaborative and supportive culture
  • Work towards clear and achievable performance targets aligned with wider business objectives

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience within a sales, business development or target driven commercial environment
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working to activity targets within a fast paced environment
  • Self motivated, proactive and resilient with a positive approach to development
  • A team oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute to collective success
