Company: Unity Advisory
Apply for the Manager- Commercial Performance Improvement
Location: Greater London
Job Description:

Built for the AI-enabled world, we operate a lean, conflict-free, and client-centric model that embeds technology and analytics across all workstreams. With no audit practice, we focus entirely on delivering value to clients with agility and outcome-based commercial models. Our culture is tech-enabled, collaborative, and focused on shared success – we work side-by-side with clients, breaking down silos and enabling transformation that sticks.

The Role

As a Manager in our Deals and Value Capture team, you will lead core workstreams within Unity’s commercial value creation engagements. You will be hands‑on in diagnosing commercial performance across client revenue engines (from sales effectiveness, pipeline discipline and funnel integrity to pricing realisation and customer retention mechanics) and in designing and executing targeted improvement initiatives that translate directly into financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead workstreams covering areas such as GTM coverage model design, sales effectiveness, forecast governance, pricing realisation, funnel stage hygiene, and commercial data integrity.
  • Execute Acceleration Sprint deliverables: structured, time‑boxed interventions on high‑priority commercial improvement levers.
  • Support the design and delivery of value creation initiatives spanning the front office to finance domain, including Lead‑to‑Cash process improvement.
  • Facilitate client workshops to align commercial KPIs, diagnose root causes of revenue underperformance, and build cross‑functional ownership of improvement actions.
  • Contribute to business development through proposals, insight development, and IP creation.

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years’ experience in consulting or relevant industry roles in commercial, growth, or transformation functions.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect strategy to execution within the context of a PE investment thesis.
  • Experience working with commercial data: CRM outputs, pipeline reports, cohort analysis, pricing data, and translating this into management‑ready insight.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure complex commercial problems, manage competing workstream priorities, and deliver clear, well‑evidenced outputs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with comfort presenting to senior commercial and finance leaders.
