Job Title: Global Consumer and Market Insights Manager (Retail)
The Role
A client in the global retail and fashion industry is seeking an Insights Manager to join the team for 12 months. You will lead complex, multi-market research projects and support the development of consumer‑centric strategies across the organisation. You will support strengthening insight capabilities and deliver high‑impact narratives that inform strategic decision‑making.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver global ad hoc research projects from brief to debrief across multiple markets
- Manage internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure timely, high‑quality outputs
- Interpret quantitative data tables and build clear, visually engaging PowerPoint summaries
- Support the CMI Lead with analysis, strategic reviews and key business presentations
- Develop research briefs aligned to business objectives and ensure accurate, consistent deliverables
- Respond to ad‑hoc data requests and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Collaborate with Customer Insights and Data Analytics teams to deliver integrated analysis
- Build strong relationships with agencies and identify new approaches and methodologies
Requirements
- 5 to 6 years’ experience in a research agency, preferably mixed‑method or quant‑focused
- Strong quantitative capabilities including questionnaire design, sampling and reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with complex data sets
- Ability to convert data into strategic insights and actionable narratives
- Skilled presenter with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Comfortable managing agencies and suppliers across multiple markets
- High proficiency in PowerPoint with strong visual storytelling instincts
- Curious, proactive and confident working in a fast‑paced global environment

- Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 depending on experience
