About the Job

As a Product Manager, you will support leading product localisation activities to ensure seamless and timely vehicle launches across selected passenger car portfolio in the UK and Ireland. You will play a key role in coordinating product requirements and managing critical processes throughout the full product lifecycle.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, as well as R&D teams across Europe and China, to gather, analyse, and translate market insights and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end management of an assigned passenger car portfolio, including competitor benchmarking, pricing strategy, product positioning, and value proposition, supporting broader localisation requirements.
  • Coordinate and support vehicle launches, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and go-to-market strategy.
  • Communicate product features, updates, and changes clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and R&D across Europe and China to drive timely delivery of product enhancements based on customer feedback and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain core product documentation, including Market Product Specification (MPC) sheets, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Follow consistent communication with third-party automotive partners and suppliers.
  • Work closely with Customer Experience team to identify opportunities for improving the customer journey and addressing product-related enquiries.
  • Proactively identify and drive continuous product improvements based on customer feedback, market insights, and performance data.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager, in alignment with business needs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within the automotive industry, ideally in a product management or product planning role at OEM HQ, National Sales Company, or Distributor level, with exposure to electric vehicles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with a structured and fact-based approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with NEV technical and product elements, such as ADAS, emissions standards, or functional safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license for passenger car.
  • Mandarin language skills are an advantage, but not a requirement.
