Barts Health NHS Trust hosts one of the UK’s largest research portfolios, collaborating closely with QMUL, Barts Life Sciences, the North East London Commercial Research Delivery Centre (NEL CRDC), and industry partners. The ATTC programme drives innovation, delivering cutting‑edge treatments, including gene and cell therapies.
We are seeking a motivated Advanced Therapy Research Project Manager to support the ATTC programme at Barts Health and QMUL. The ATTC Network is a world‑first NHS initiative addressing the challenges of bringing advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) to patients.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national advanced therapy capability, accelerate clinical trials, and work alongside leading clinicians, academics, industry partners, and national research bodies. The project manager will play a key role in the set‑up, management, and delivery of ATMP trials, coordinating studies, ensuring milestones are met, and preparing project plans, scopes, documentation, and risk‑management strategies.
The post holder will collaborate with colleagues across Barts Health, QMUL, NEL CRDC, ATTC partners, and industry, coordinating feasibility discussions, supporting Scientific Advisory Group presentations, maintaining monitoring tools, and managing project data securely.
The project manager will also oversee the ATTC budget, support necessary approvals for studies, work with HTA colleagues at Barts, the JRMO and QMUL to ensure smooth co‑ordination of advanced therapy trials, and identify potential future opportunities that add value to current funding streams.
