Senior Service Advisor (Experienced Only)
MAX Automotive Group Ltd is growing and we are looking for a seriously experienced Service Advisor to run the front of house at our busy workshop.
We’re not looking for someone to just answer phones and book cars in.
We need someone who understands:
- How to price service and repair work correctly
- How to sell additional work professionally
- How to control the workshop diary and technician workflow
- How to keep customers informed and confident
If you have worked in a busy independent garage or dealer environment and understand how a workshop actually makes money, this role could be ideal for you.
Your Role
You will be responsible for managing the service desk and customer journey from start to finish, including:
- Booking vehicles into the workshop
- Accurately pricing servicing and repair work
- Explaining work clearly to customers
- Upselling additional work identified by technicians
- Managing workshop workflow with technicians
- Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers
- Managing invoices and payments
Customer communication is critical in our business, so updates must be provided at:
- 10:00 – Initial progress update
- 13:00 – Additional work authorisation
- 16:00 – Completion or collection update
What We Are Looking For
This role is only suitable for someone with real experience.
You must have:
- 5+ years Service Advisor experience
- Strong understanding of vehicle servicing and repair pricing
- Proven ability to sell additional work and increase invoice value
- Ability to manage a busy workshop environment
