AIM Ltd produces a wide variety of bespoke insulation products to customer specification and also manufactures bespoke ranges of fire, thermal and acoustic insulation products – primarily but not exclusively for the construction industry. AIM provides a first-class service, supplying quality products on a rapid response basis. A range of dedicated hauliers and carriers ensure prompt deliveries throughout the UK and Ireland.

We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive for Acoustic & Insulation Manufacturing (AIM), who will work as part of the Administration / Customer Service Team assisting in the daily activities of a highly efficient and successful office.

What does the role involve?

As Customer Service Executive, you will provide excellent customer service support to customers which will include making informed haulage booking decisions, facilitating delivery requirements, and ensuring any delivery issues are resolved. This is likely to entail forwarding calls to construction sites to pro–actively avoid delivery issues. You will also be part of the wider order processing system where you will be required to double check quotations and purchase orders to ensure pricing is correct, ensuring all changes to orders are fully agreed with the customer and updated within internal systems.

The successful applicant will undertake all POD reconciliation, invoice and statement requests, highlighting any delivery issues and remaining commercially astute whilst supporting the team.

The successful candidate will require:

  • A proactive, flexible can-do approach to work
  • IT literate, with good competency in the use of Microsoft Office products and extremely good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Great customer service skills, with a professional and courteous approach to colleagues and customers
  • A good level of numeracy
