We’re partnering with a well‑established freight forwarder based in Dartford, looking to add an Air & Sea Freight Forwarder to their operations team. This is a strong opportunity for someone seeking stability, development, and a supportive working environment.

Base Pay Range

£30–40k depending on experience

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing end‑to‑end air and/or ocean import and export operations, including:

• Coordinating bookings with airlines, carriers, co‑loaders, and hauliers
• Preparing and checking all freight documentation (MAWB/HAWB, MBL/HBL, commercial invoices, customs docs)
• Completing CDS customs entries and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Tracking shipments and maintaining proactive customer communication
• Managing quotations, key account support, job costings, and invoicing

What They’re Looking For

• Ideally 2+ years of experience within UK freight forwarding
• Competence in either air or sea freight operations (dual‑modal advantageous)
• Good understanding of Incoterms and UK customs procedures
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
• Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach
