Introduction
Arla Foods Oswestry is looking for a proficient Line Leader to join the team on a permanent basis. As a Line Leader, you will play an integral part in the efficient running of the packing lines in our production area within a Cheese packaging site.
Location: Arla Foods, Oswestry, SY10 8NL
About The Job
The successful candidate will work a 3 on, 3 off 12 hour shift pattern that will include both day and night shifts. They will contribute to the quality and technical areas in the Production team to enable it to produce the highest quality cheese products in a reliable and cost effective way.
Duties will include:
- Effectively run packing lines by using production IT systems
- Perform simple maintenance tasks on packing lines
- Maintain strict Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards within the department
- Monitor equipment performance and correct / raise issues before they become problems
- Contribute to the team reporting and decision making process
What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role
- Previous experience in an FMCG or related company
- Food hygiene certificate
- NVQ level 2 or equivalent is desirable to demonstrate basic level of vocational learning ability.
- Experience of SAP process order management and automated data collection systems i.e. OEE
