Your new company 

Hays Accountancy & Finance are seeking a Finance Manager for our client, a global leader in sustainable solutions. In this role, you will oversee financial and operational performance reporting, manage daily accounting processes, and lead a dedicated finance team. This is a fixed-term position until February 2027, offering an immediate start.

Your new role 

• Lead and support the Finance Team, including Accounts Payable, Receivable, and operational accounting.
• Complete month-end processes (closing ledgers, posting journals, reviewing accruals and prepayments).
• Manage payroll, pensions, VAT returns etc.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee expenses and credit card reconciliations.
• Handle bank payments and foreign currency requirements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payments and audits (internal, external, HMRC).
• Assist with annual budgeting and provide financial data for reporting.
