Working in a collaborative finance team, you’ll contribute to meaningful work while enjoying a supportive and flexible working environment.Your new roleAs an Accountant, you will take ownership of the organisation’s year‑end statutory reporting while providing essential support to the month‑end close process. This is a true all‑round accounting role, combining elements of both financial and management accounting.You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple business units, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, and insightful. You will also lead and mentor a small team of two transactional finance staff, supporting their development and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering year-end statutory accounts
- Strong understanding of statutory reporting requirements
- Ability to effectiveyl engage with stakeholders across business areas
- Experience leading, supervising or mentoring finance staff
- A proactive, solutions focused mindset and strong organisational skills
What you’ll need to succeedYou will be a qualified or qualified‑by‑experience accountant with strong technical expertise and the confidence to operate autonomously.You should bring:
- Proven experience across both management and financial accounting
- Strong understanding of statutory reporting requirements
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business areas
- Experience leading, supervising or mentoring finance staff
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong organisational skills
