About the Role

  • Lead the operational delivery of apprenticeships across multiple curriculum areas
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, ESFA funding rules and awarding body requirements
  • Drive quality improvement through audits, learning walks, scrutiny and data analysis
  • Oversee learner progress, retention, attendance and employer engagement
  • Lead standardisation, CPD and team meetings to ensure consistently high performance
  • Prepare the department for audit, inspection and external quality assurance
  • Promote high expectations, a positive learning culture and disciplined environments
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and employer partnerships
  • Provide accurate reporting on performance, risk, compliance and improvement plans

About You

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification (vocational or academic)
  • Cert Ed or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Assessor and IQA qualifications are desirable
  • Experience in managing apprenticeship provision, quality assurance and staff performance
  • A track record of delivering outstanding teaching & learning
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • A solution‑focused mindset and the ability to manage risk and drive improvement
