Our client is a specialist consultancy delivering complex digital and cloud transformation programmes into highly secure public sector environments. They support organisations in optimising large‑scale technology investments while maintaining strong governance and accountability. Due to increasing demand for cloud financial control and optimisation, they are seeking an experienced Management Consultant – Cloud FinOps to drive cost efficiency initiatives.
THE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT – CLOUD FIN OPS ROLE
As a Management Consultant specialising in Cloud FinOps, you will drive cloud cost optimisation strategies across secure, multi‑cloud environments, aligning financial governance with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing cloud cost management strategies across AWS, Azure and/or GCP environments
- Establishing financial governance frameworks, usage forecasting and spend analysis models
- Partnering with engineering, finance and procurement teams to ensure accountability for cloud consumption
- Delivering data‑driven insights and automation to optimise cloud spend
- Aligning cloud investment decisions with strategic business priorities
MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT – CLOUD FINOPS ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Proven experience implementing Cloud FinOps or cloud cost optimisation strategies
- Strong knowledge of multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure and/or GCP)
- Experience influencing engineering and finance stakeholders to drive financial accountability
- Strong analytical capability, including spend modelling and forecasting
- Experience operating within secure or highly regulated environments
- Enhanced DV clearance (essential)
- FinOps Foundation certification advantageous but not essential. xwzovoh
