A primary school in Scunthorpe is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a child who needs consistency, encouragement and structured guidance to thrive in their learning environment.

Key Requirements

• Confident behaviour management ability
• Knowledge and understanding of Autism and ADHD
• Resilient, patient and solution-focused
• Empathetic, calm and positive approach
• Strong communication skills
• A genuine desire to make a long-term impact

Role Responsibilities

• Delivering tailored 1:1 support throughout lessons and routines
• Supporting emotional regulation, sensory needs and engagement
• Promoting positive behaviour and independence
• Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO
• Creating a supportive, safe and predictable environment
