Chief Operating Officer

£70,000 – £75,000 per annum. Full time (37.5 hours per week). Initially a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the daily operations of the hospice service. They will be responsible for governance and compliance in all non-clinical activities of the operation.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will:

• Lead governance, compliance and risk management.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Drive operational performance, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support delivery of strategic objectives and organisational growth.
• Lead business continuity and organisational resilience planning.
• Work closely with Trustees, NHS partners and external stakeholders.
