Senior Associate – Private Equity Secondaries

Our client, a leading global private equity secondaries investor, is seeking a Senior Associate to join its London-based investment team. This role offers significant responsibility across the full investment lifecycle, with meaningful involvement in transaction leadership, underwriting, and portfolio management across a broad range of secondary strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead underwriting and execution of LP-led and GP-led secondary transactions, including complex and structured deals
- Own advanced financial modeling, valuation analysis, and investment committee materials
- Drive quantitative analysis and scenario modeling to support pricing and structuring decisions
- Coordinate and manage commercial, financial, and legal due diligence workstreams
- Take ownership of key deal processes and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to portfolio construction, monitoring, and strategic research initiatives
Candidate Profile:
- 4–7 years of experience in private equity secondaries, private equity, or top-tier investment banking
- Demonstrated excellence in technical analysis, financial modeling, and valuation across complex investment structures
- Strong understanding of secondary market dynamics, fund mechanics, and GP-led transaction frameworks
- Proven ability to independently manage complex transactions end-to-end
- Fluency in one or more European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish, or Italian) is highly desirable
- Highly analytical, detail-driven, and intellectually rigorous with strong commercial judgment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
