Job Description:

LW Theatres is undertaking significant digital and technology led change to modernise systems, improve operational efficiency, and support the delivery of world class live theatre experiences across multiple iconic venues. This role is the primary Technology Project Manager for LW Theatres, with accountability for the overall technology project portfolio and the maturity of project delivery across the LW Group.

The role operates at the intersection of technology, operations, and business change, working closely with senior leaders, executive sponsors, and delivery teams to ensure strategic outcomes are delivered safely, effectively, and at pace.

This is a hands on role requiring strong programme leadership, the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and confidence operating at Senior Leadership and Executive level.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Act as the lead IT Project Manager for LW Theatres, owning end to end delivery of digital and technology change initiatives.
  • Lead the delivery of complex digital transformation programmes, comprising multiple interdependent projects running concurrently.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear delivery roadmaps, ensuring alignment between technology, business process change, and operational outcomes.
  • Manage cross project dependencies, sequencing, and prioritisation to maximise value and minimise risk to live operations.
  • Acts as the primary delivery counterpart to the Group Technology Director on all technology change initiatives

Delivery Management

  • Own the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through delivery, handover, and post implementation review.
  • Define and control project scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance structures.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), taking ownership of mitigation and escalation.
  • Develop and maintain robust project artefacts including business cases, delivery plans, RAID logs, budgets, and benefits tracking.

Stakeholder & Executive Management

  • Lead stakeholder engagement across technology, operations, finance, and business teams.
  • Manage upwards with confidence, providing clear, concise reporting and recommendations to senior leadership and executive sponsors.
  • Prepare and present updates to SLT, steering groups, and decision forums, including options analysis and impact assessments.
  • Constructively challenge where required, ensuring informed decision making and delivery accountability.

Governance, Assurance & Change

  • Ensure adherence to agreed project management frameworks, governance standards, and change control processes.
  • Support executive sponsors in programme governance, assurance, and benefits realisation.
  • Ensure effective transition into business as usual, including operational readiness, adoption planning, and change management.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery practices and contribute to the maturity of the Group Technology delivery function.

What we need…

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Experience operating in a Head of / Lead delivery role, with accountability for project standards, portfolio oversight, and delivery assurance
  • Proven experience as a senior Technology Project Manager, delivering digital transformation programmes with multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated success operating in complex, fast paced, or operationally critical environments.
  • Strong experience managing senior stakeholders, including SLT and executive level engagement.
  • Excellent understanding of project and programme delivery methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Highly organised, structured, and delivery focused, with strong judgement around risk, priority, and pace.
  • Confident communicator, able to influence, challenge, and build credibility at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience delivering change in multi site, venue based, hospitality, entertainment, or similarly time critical environments.
  • Exposure to large scale system implementations, data platforms, or enterprise technology estates.

Hours of work: 35 hours over 5 days, Monday to Friday
