This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Director seeking meaningful, flexible, part‑time work in a respected social enterprise.
The Role
You will lead our finance function, ensuring strong financial stewardship across the charity and our trading subsidiary. Working closely with the Chief Executive, Trustees, Senior Management Team and Finance Officer, you will provide:
- Clear financial leadershipand compliance across accounting, payroll and reporting
- Confidence and accuracyin budgeting, forecasting and financial insight
- Strategic guidanceto support decision‑making and risk management
- Collaborative leadershipwith line management of the Finance Officer
Additional hours may be available if you bring experience in business development or income generation.
About You
We’re looking for a Finance Director who:
- Has significant financial leadership experience (charity sector experience desirable)
- Is skilled in Sage, payroll and VAT
- Communicates well across teams and supports non‑finance colleagues
- Can quickly get to grips with a multi‑project organisation’s finances
- Is motivated by purpose, impact and community benefit
