What You’ll Be Doing
Join the House of Commons as a Health & Safety Business Partner and play a vital role in protecting one of the world’s most iconic estates. Supporting the wider UK Parliament, you’ll help maintain a safe, compliant environment across a complex, live World Heritage Site, balancing historic preservation with modern operational demands.
Working within a collaborative, expert team, you’ll provide practical safety advice across maintenance projects and events, ensuring compliance with legislation and ISO45001-aligned systems. You’ll support audits, incident investigations, and the development of robust safety processes, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and contractors.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence safety culture at scale, contribute to high-profile operations, and support the long-term sustainability of Parliament’s estate in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.

What We’re Looking For.
- NEBOSH General
- Tech IOSH, or similar and equivalent membership
- Experience of successfully managing a variety of safety issues and non-compliances
- Able to use a range of persuasive techniques to influence behaviours of stakeholders
- Experience of effectively explaining complex, technical verbal and written safety information which is understandable by a varied audience
