A leading global marketing and advertising agency is looking for a Commercial Manager to join its growing finance team. The business partners with top tier global brands and has built a reputation for creativity, commercial excellence and a genuinely strong culture.
This role sits at the heart of the agency, partnering with senior leadership to drive performance, improve profitability and shape strategic decision-making. Finance is viewed as a true commercial partner to the business, not just a reporting function, so there is real scope to influence and add value.
You’ll also play a key role in an ongoing transformation programme, with significant exposure to project-based work and process improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to provide commercial insight and decision support
- Identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities across client portfolios
- Lead budgeting and forecasting for client accounts
- Own client management reporting and respond to ad hoc client requests
- Support and lead client fee and contract negotiations
- Develop compelling commercial proposals for new business pitches
- Act as the primary commercial contact for regional leads and local markets
- Support the CFO in driving financial and strategic initiatives
The ideal candidate:
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and client leadership
- Qualified accountant preferred, but not essential, part qualified CIMA/ACCA is okay.
- Agency background is essential, ideally within media planning or a similar environment
- Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting
