Network Security Engineer

Hybrid – Basingstoke | Technology & Cyber Sector

I’m supporting a leading organisation in the technology & cyber security sector as they continue to scale their UK managed services division. They’re looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Palo Alto Networks technologies, providing L2–L3 support across complex customer environments.

The Role

You’ll be delivering high‑quality managed services support, including:

• L2–L3 troubleshooting across Palo Alto firewalls & security platforms
• Technical onboarding of new clients
• Incident ownership through to resolution
• Working to ITIL standards & strict SLAs
• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to service improvement

What You’ll Bring

• Strong hands‑on experience with Palo Alto NGFW and associated platforms
• PCNSE (current) or equivalent certification
• Experience in managed services environments
• Broad networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, Wi‑Fi)
• Comfort with SNMP monitoring & ticketing systems

• Prisma Access / SASE
• SD-WAN experience
