Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Operations Lead Nurse to join our amazing and dedicated contact centre team in Manchester. Please note the role is hybrid 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home, and 4 weeks of induction/training will be conducted at the Office.

The Role

Lead and be responsible for the delivery of our clinical NHS Patient services team, ensuring effective delivery of virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment. Lead and be responsible for the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing clinical advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.

What You’ll Need

  • Nursing degree and registration with the NMC
  • Minimum three years post qualification nursing experience
  • Previous experience in Ophthalmology, Theatre, General Surgery or Outpatients
  • Experience of leading and managing a team
  • Commercial awareness with passion for delivering high standards of customer service and clinical care
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction
  • Ability to lead and motivate a remote team to deliver great results
  • Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other
