Employment Type: Permanent – Full Time

Description
Why Join DAZN?
At DAZN, we don’t just broadcast sport — we amplify it. We’re one of the world’s leading sports streaming platforms, and we’re building something truly special in global football.
This is an exciting opportunity to sit at the heart of that ambition — working on a truly global football proposition, connecting with fans across every continent, and building the kind of partnerships that put DAZN at the centre of the football world.
As Senior Marketing Manager for Global Football, you’ll combine the craft of world-class campaign marketing with the relationship-building and commercial instincts needed to unlock the full power of DAZN’s football partnerships — including a pivotal role as a key point of contact for football associations and leagues around the world.
You’ll be a senior, trusted member of a small and ambitious team — someone who can lead campaigns, build partnerships, and represent DAZN in rooms that matter. If you’re a passionate football marketer who thrives on variety, values relationships, and wants to make a global impact — this is the role for you.
The Role
Reporting directly to the VP Marketing, Global Football, you’ll be a senior pillar of the Global Football marketing team — leading campaign strategy and execution while owning the development and activation of DAZN’s partnership marketing relationships across the football ecosystem.
You’ll act as a key point of contact for Football, working closely with their team to ensure DAZN’s partnership is activated to its fullest potential. You’ll also build and manage relationships with football associations, domestic leagues, and clubs around the world — identifying opportunities to collaborate, co‑market, and create moments that grow DAZN’s presence and relevance in the global football landscape.
This is a role that demands both strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery. You’ll need to be as comfortable leading a campaign brief as you are in a partner meeting, and as confident analysing performance data as you are pitching a co‑marketing idea to a football federation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Campaign Strategy & Execution
- Lead the planning and end‑to‑end delivery of global football marketing campaigns — from strategy and briefing through to launch, optimisation, and post‑campaign analysis
- Develop and execute multi‑channel campaign strategies across paid media, owned channels, social, content, and partnerships — ensuring DAZN’s football proposition is marketed compellingly to fans globally
- Tailor global campaigns for local audiences — working with regional marketing leads to ensure activity resonates culturally and drives results in key markets
- Collaborate with creative, production, and data teams to develop insight‑led, fan‑first campaign creative and messaging
- Contribute to the development of DAZN’s global football marketing calendar — ensuring campaigns are planned around key moments in the football year
Partnership Marketing – Football
- Serve as a key day‑to‑day marketing point of contact for Football — building a strong, collaborative, and commercially productive relationship with their marketing, content, and partnership teams
- Lead the marketing activation of DAZN’s Football partnership — ensuring every contractual marketing right is identified, planned, and activated to maximum effect
- Collaborate on co‑marketing campaigns, content initiatives, and fan engagement programmes — bringing creativity and commercial rigour to the partnership
- Ensure DAZN’s brand is represented effectively and consistently within all Football‑related marketing activity
- Identify and propose new partnership marketing opportunities within the Football relationships that drive incremental value for DAZN
Partnership Marketing – Football Associations & Leagues
- Build and manage marketing relationships with football associations, domestic leagues, and clubs across DAZN’s key global markets — identifying opportunities for co‑marketing, content collaboration, and audience development
- Develop a partnership marketing framework that enables DAZN to work effectively and consistently with football organisations at every level — from global federations to local associations
- Identify and activate co‑marketing opportunities with leagues and associations that drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement for DAZN’s football proposition
- Leverage association and league relationships to access talent, content, and platforms that amplify DAZN’s marketing reach and credibility within the football community
- Work with regional marketing leads to identify and activate local football partnership opportunities that complement the global strategy
Acquisition & Growth
- Lead the development and execution of campaigns that drive subscriber and user acquisition across key markets
- Use audience insight and data to inform targeting, messaging, and channel strategy — ensuring DAZN’s football marketing reaches the right fans at the right time
- Identify and activate media, talent, influencer, and social partnerships that extend DAZN’s reach within the global football community
- Support the VP Marketing in overseeing paid media strategy — ensuring investment is allocated effectively and campaigns are continuously optimised for performance
Engagement & Retention
- Work closely with the Head of CRM to ensure campaign activity is integrated with lifecycle marketing programmes and fan engagement strategies
- Champion a fan‑first approach to marketing — ensuring every campaign and partnership activation reflects the passion, culture, and diversity of global football
- Identify opportunities within the football calendar — tournaments, transfer windows, derbies, and content launches — to create engagement moments that keep fans connected to DAZN year‑round
- Support the development of personalisation and segmentation strategies that deliver relevant, timely communications to football fans globally
Performance & Optimisation
- Define and track KPIs for all campaign and partnership marketing activity — monitoring performance across the full funnel and using data to drive continuous improvement
- Deliver regular performance reporting to the VP Marketing — translating insight into clear recommendations and actionable next steps
- Build a test‑and‑learn approach into all campaign activity — ensuring the team is always improving based on evidence
- Monitor the competitive landscape and partnership marketing activity across the football industry — sharing relevant insight and opportunities with the wider team
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven senior marketing experience — at Senior Marketing Manager level or equivalent — within a sport, entertainment, media, or subscription business
- A genuine passion for football and a deep understanding of the global football landscape — from elite club football and major international tournaments to domestic leagues and football culture worldwide
- Demonstrated experience leading multi‑channel marketing campaigns — from strategy through to delivery and performance analysis
- Partnership marketing experience — a track record of building and activating co‑marketing relationships with sports organisations, brands, or rights holders that deliver measurable results
- Strong relationship management skills — able to build trust, manage expectations, and collaborate effectively with external partners at a senior level
- Experience working in a global or multi‑market marketing environment — comfortable adapting strategy for different audiences, cultures, and markets
- Strong analytical mindset — comfortable interpreting performance data and translating insight into strategy and action
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to represent DAZN confidently in partner meetings and present clearly to senior internal stakeholders
- A “sleeves rolled up” approach — this is a small team, and everyone is expected to get into the detail, take ownership, and deliver
