Inspired Learning Group is currently looking to appoint a Credit controller to join their Finance team.

As a Credit Controller you will ensuring all outstanding debts are collected on a timely basis. The role will require you to handle any Parent queries and issues on a timely basis, giving a high quality experience. You will also be responsible for raising invoices for fees from our nursery and school systems on a monthly or termly basis, liaising with school leaders as necessary. Posting and reconciling bank entries will be important too, as will producing weekly and monthly reports on the ledger positions to enable accurate forecasting of cash positions. Assisting with the refinement of the credit-control process as the department and business expands, overseeing terms and payment plans for parents, liaising with councils regarding Early Years Funding – all are aspects of this exciting and rewarding role.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience in a similar credit control role, having experience in or an accounting qualification will be looked upon favourably. You will have what it takes to provide a professional service in engaging with parents who have overdue accounts. You also have strong systems knowledge, preferably with experience of using Netsuite, but certainly good skills in using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook with excellent attention to detail. Highly developed communication skills both oral and written are essential, as is the ability to prioritise effectively and consistently meet deadlines. Self-motivated and a self-starter with the ability to multi task and effectively manage a varied workload – you will need to be able to do all this while taking into account the dynamics and demands of the department and team.
