Network Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a high-performing Network Operations team responsible for a global network spanning offices, data centres, and co-location environments. This role combines project delivery, advanced troubleshooting, and a strong focus on network automation within an Infrastructure-as-Code environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver network engineering projects and technical designs across enterprise infrastructure
• Provide Tier 3 support (1 week in 4), including resolving major incidents and complex issues
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, WAN, and third‑party connectivity issues
• Monitor and optimise data centre network performance
• Collaborate with infrastructure, data centre, and operations teams
• Develop and maintain network automation solutions

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in enterprise routing & switching, including BGP
• Experience with Cisco and Arista networking technologies
• Proficiency in network automation (Python preferred)
• Firewall experience (e.g., Palo Alto or Fortinet)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, AWX)

Location: 4 days on site London Soho

Duration: 12 Month Contract (high chance for extension)
