JOB – Field Service Engineer

LOCATION – Southwest (lots of the work will be based around Devon/Cornwall area)

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £28,000 – £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a specialist manufacturer of consumer products. They are looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the Southwest to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• At least 2 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
• Experience working on electromechanical systems or similar equipment
• Hands-on experience with maintenance, installation, commissioning, servicing and repair
• Strong experience with assembly and build
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Team player who is passionate about their work
• Flexible with working hours Monday-FridayHappy to travel on a field basis and work alone
• Holds a full UK driving licence

The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

• Travelling to customer sites across the UK to service, maintain and install equipment
• Testing and repairing equipment to be dispatched
• Training customers on how to use their equipment
• Developing strong relationships with customers
• Working in a small multi-disciplinary team
