Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Lightning Protection Industry, with experience testing, maintaining and installing Lightning Protection Systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic hard working team of people, who have a great reputation in the industry.

The successful applicant will contribute to the testing, remedial and installation of Lightning Protection Systems, ensuring they meet rigorous quality and performance standards.

Duties

  • Testing and maintenance of Lightning Protection systems
  • Installation of Lightning Protection Systems to British Standards with quality and enthusiasm to the design provided
  • Create detailed site audits of works completed on site, using the Site Audit Pro App or our personalised software that is currently in design stages
  • Complete remedial works to existing Lightning Protection Systems
  • Travel to and from sites around the UK, will be expected to lodge away from home
  • Work safely at all times

Experience

  • Proven experience in the Lightning Protection Industry with a minimum NVQ L2 qualification
  • Familiarity with CAD drawings and following Lightning Protection Designs
  • Must be able to problem solve and have a positive attitude to work
  • Hands-on experience working on building sites
  • Have the knowledge and experience to work safely at all times with SSSTS as standard (preferred but not essential as training will be given)
  • Must hold a full clean driving licence

Please note salary negotiable depending on experience

Must be located in Nottingham

Pay: £39,195.00-£42,120.00 per year
