Job Description:
A leading and well-established food manufacturing business is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join their UK team. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role, combining technical expertise with commercial influence across a national customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical rollout of new product launches across the UK
- Provide expert support to national accounts, distributors, and wholesale customers
- Act as the escalation point for complex technical and production challenges
- Conduct root cause analysis and deliver solutions at customer sites
- Deliver technical training to internal sales teams and external partners
- Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and competitions
- Support innovation by developing on-trend product applications
About You
- Strong background in bakery, pastry, or food manufacturing (Master Baker / Senior Pastry Chef desirable)
- Experience in a technical or applications role, ideally across a national or multi-site remit
- In-depth knowledge of ingredients such as enzymes, emulsifiers, fats, and stabilisers
- Commercially aware, with the ability to translate technical detail into customer value
- Confident engaging with both operational teams and senior stakeholdersFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
