Maintenance Refrigeration Engineer

CSS Environmental Ltd is looking for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration systems across a mix of commercial and light commercial sites.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown repairs
• Install and commission light commercial refrigeration equipment
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including F-Gas regulations and health & safety guidelines
• Complete job reports using mobile technology and the Crafty portal
• Travel to various customer sites across London and the South East

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified refrigeration engineer with up-to-date certifications
• F-Gas Certification
• City & Guilds 2079 (Level 2) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable)
• Solid experience on commercial refrigeration systems (ideally via a 3-year apprenticeship)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
