Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial and Industrial Mechanical Service and Maintenance Engineer based in Bradford. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, diagnosing system issues, and executing repairs to ensure optimal performance. The role also involves installation of new mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate service records. Collaboration with clients and colleagues to deliver high-standard service and resolve issues efficiently is essential.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in servicing and maintaining HVAC systems, air conditioning, and mechanical equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performing repairs in commercial and industrial environments
- Familiarity with installation processes for mechanical systems and equipment
- Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and energy-efficient practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work well in a team and independently under minimal supervision
- Relevant certifications such as F-Gas or City and Guilds qualifications are highly desirable
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed
