The Opportunity
I’m working with a well-established and expanding specialist law firm that is looking to appoint a Solicitor to join its growing Employment Law team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor who wants to manage their own caseload, develop sector expertise, and progress within a modern, forward-thinking legal environment. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering practical, commercially focused advice and is continuing to invest in people, systems, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Case Management
- Manage your own caseload of employment law matters from instruction to completion
- Provide clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice
- Draft legal documents, contracts, and correspondence tailored to client needs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Legal & Technical Work
- Conduct legal research and analyse case law and documentation
- Prepare matters for negotiations, hearings, and settlements
- Ensure compliance with legal procedures and professional standards
- Represent clients in meetings and, where required, court proceedings
Team & Professional Development
- Supervise and support trainees and paralegals where appropriate
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and team development
- Maintain accurate time recording and case management records
- Stay up to date with developments in employment law
About You
You will likely demonstrate:
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales
- Experience handling employment law matters (or a strong interest in the field)
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and professional integrity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
