Trade Support Analyst (Front Office Aligned)

Experience: 5–6 Years

We are partnering with a well-established brokerage firm looking to hire an experienced Trade Support Analyst to join its front‑office‑aligned support team. This is a fast-paced, desk‑facing role requiring strong technical knowledge and the ability to operate in a high-volume trading environment.

The Role

You will work directly alongside traders, ensuring the smooth running of trading activity while maintaining strong control across trade capture, booking, and post‑trade processes.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office Trade Support

  • Provide real‑time support to trading desks, ensuring trades are accurately captured and booked
  • Monitor trading activity and proactively identify and resolve booking or execution issues
  • Handle trade amendments, allocations, and lifecycle events with precision

Trade Lifecycle & Control

  • Manage the full trade lifecycle from execution through to settlement
  • Investigate and resolve trade breaks across front‑to‑back systems (positions, cash, confirmations)
  • Liaise with middle office, settlements, and external counterparties to resolve discrepancies

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key liaison between traders, operations, compliance, and external brokers/clients
  • Support onboarding of new clients, products, and trading workflows
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in trade flow and contribute to process improvements
  • Support system enhancements and participate in testing of new functionalities

Requirements

  • 5–6 years’ experience in trade support / middle office within a brokerage, investment bank, or trading firm
  • Strong understanding of high‑volume trading environments and associated operational risks
  • Excellent knowledge of the trade lifecycle, including booking, confirmation, and settlement processes
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in real‑time
  • Strong communication skills with experience interacting directly with trading desks
  • Experience with trading systems and OMS platforms (e.g. Fidessa, Bloomberg, Murex)
  • Strong Excel skills; exposure to automation or scripting is advantageous
