We have a fantastic opportunity for an International Assistant Project Manager to join our vibrant, inclusive community that celebrates our differences and makes a real impact across the UK. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and globally minded International Growth & Operations Assistant Project Manager to support our expanding international footprint. This role sits at the heart of our global growth strategy, providing operational, analytical, and project management support across multiple jurisdictions including the US, Bahamas, ROI, and Australia.
What You Will Be Doing
- Working in a team, assisting in the production and maintenance of technically sound project management solutions, complying with all relevant technical standards and client requirements.
- General office duties associated with the smooth running of a consulting business.
- You will be expected to meet any budget targets and deadlines set by the manager but will have no responsibility for the financial performance of the project.
We Want To Hear From You If You Have
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate subject.
- Associate membership of the Association for Project Management.
- Association for Project Management Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ) or equivalent.
Skills
- Understanding of project management theory and principles, gained through practical application with developing ability to apply in practice.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management and specification processes and starting to take ownership for the production of deliverables with appropriate supervision.
- Good competence with relevant project management software and similar analytical tools.
- Aware of commercial issues.
- Good knowledge of suppliers and types of services they provide.
- Reasonably good oral communicator who presents arguments and ideas.
- Basic understanding of Health, Safety and Welfare, including specific regulations.
- Capable of producing reports to a good standard.
- Basic understanding of the different interfaces on projects.
- Supervisory and people management skills; moving towards supervising more junior staff.
