As a key member of the Customer Support Team, you’ll be responsible for delivering a best‑in‑class service throughout the customer journey, ensuring all interactions meet regulatory standards and reflect the company’s values.
Location: Finnieston, Glasgow (Hybrid)Salary: £26,000Hours: 35 hours per week (rotating shifts between 8am-8pm, Mon-Fri)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service across multiple communication channels.
- Manage and process daily customer support tasks within agreed timelines.
- Handle direct debit collections, issue welcome packs, and send regulatory statements.
- Accurately update customer records and process settlement quotes in line with team KPIs.
- Manage queries and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution in line with company procedures.
- Comply with FCA regulations relating to early terminations, cancellations, and vehicle finance processes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all customer communications and actions taken.
- Submit credit reference agency files and daily asset registration data to relevant parties.
- Protect customer data and ensure all activity aligns with GDPR requirements.
- Support reporting and data tracking efforts to identify trends and opportunities for service improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within financial services.
- Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., Consumer Credit Act).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and a solution‑focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A team player with a positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.
