KDW Property Services LTD is a family run property services company based in Poole. We are a growing company looking for a talented and dedicated individuals to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and has a strong work ethic.
We are looking for an experienced surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of insurance claims, including subsidence, escape of water, and fire damage. You will work closely with site managers and the office team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee multiple schemes with a mix of residential and commercial projects.
- Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Monitor project costs and ensure that they remain within budget.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards and meets all relevant codes and regulations.
- Using multiple systems to create cost estimates and keep up communications with clients and customers.
- Work closely with site managers, claims handlers and the finance team to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide regular reports on project progress and financial performance.
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Produce health and safety documentation for operatives to follow and adhere to onsite.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills.
- Experience in subsidence & escape of water claims.
- Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience using multiple IT systems.
- Ability to handle multiple projects within the same timeframe.
Qualifications
- Degree in surveying or any alternate related degree is preferable however, not necessary for the right candidate.
Salary: On application, dependent on experience
