We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. The role focuses on ensuring mechanical components, sub-assemblies and finished products meet required engineering, quality and compliance standards, helping to support smooth production and customer expectations.

Quality Inspector – Key responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering

  • Inspect incoming mechanical parts against engineering drawings, specifications and purchase order requirements
  • Complete in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies
  • Identify, record and escalate non-conformances in line with QMS procedures
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions when issues arise
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, tolerances and specifications accurately
  • Help maintain calibration compliance and traceability of inspection equipment
  • Accurately log inspection outcomes and quality data within the ERP system
  • Support goods-in and goods-out checks during busy periods to prevent delays

Quality Inspector – Essential experience – Mechanical Engineering

  • Mechanical engineering xwzovoh background or strong hands-on inspection experience
  • Confident working with mechanical drawings and tolerances
  • Previous experience in quality inspection or mechanical inspection
  • Good computer skills
  • High attention to detail with a structured, methodical approach
