A highly respected building services consultancy delivering complex pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities across the UK and Europe is seeking a Mechanical Design Lead / Associate Director.This is a strategic hire with a clear and defined pathway to Director level as part of the companys succession and growth plan.You will join a technically strong leadership team delivering GMP, cleanroom and regulated manufacturing environments.
The Role
Lead mechanical design across pharmaceutical & GMP projects Oversee HVAC, cleanroom ventilation & environmental control systems Develop contamination control & pressure cascade strategies Lead utilities design (CHW, LTHW, steam, compressed air) Mentor and grow the mechanical design team Act as senior client-facing technical authority Support commercial strategy & business xwzovoh development Sign off and oversee detailed design delivery
What Theyre Looking For
Strong consultancy background (essential) 10+ years mechanical building services design Pharmaceutical / life sciences project experience Cleanroom & GMP knowledge Chartered or working toward CIBSE Leadership ambition with Director-level capability
