Senior Quantity Surveyor – RefurbishmentYeadon, Leeds£50,000 to £60,000 DOE + excellent benefits
We are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established refurbishment and fit-out specialist delivering high-quality projects across the commercial and public sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a business that provides an end-to-end service, from initial design through to full installation.
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role is a commercially focused, office-based position, responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual performance of refurbishment projects from tender stage through to final account. The role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take on a broader commercial remit within a supportive environment that offers long-term career development.
The Role – Senior Quantity Surveyor
- As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, oversee the commercial management of refurbishment projects under JCT and bespoke company contracts
- Support pre-construction activity, including tenders, pricing and bid submissions
- Review tender allowances, margins, exclusions and risks
- Establish and manage project budgets, tracking performance against forecasts
- Produce regular commercial reports, including margin and gross profit forecasts
- Prepare valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor assessments
- Manage variations and change control to protect commercial position
About You – Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or xwzovoh Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction or refurbishment
- Also open to candidates currently operating at Commercial Manager level
- Good understanding of JCT contracts
- Experience supporting tenders, pricing or bid submissions
- Confident managing costs, budgets and commercial reporting
- Highly organised, commercially astute and solution-focused
