Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-Leaning)

London (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)

£70,000 – £85,000 + Benefits

Method Resourcing are working with a London-based engineering team hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join a project building a production-critical trading platform for a major enterprise client.

This is a long-running, evolving system rather than a greenfield build, where the focus is on performance, reliability, and clean architecture. The role is frontend-leaning (around 70-80% React), but you’ll still be working across the stack using modern JavaScript and Node.js, taking ownership of features from design through to production while contributing to wider architectural decisions.

The platform includes complex, data-heavy interfaces and real-time elements, and is supported by modern infrastructure, including containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes, alongside observability tooling such as Grafana and Prometheus.

What they’re looking for

  • 6-10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong, hands-on React in production environments
  • Solid experience with JavaScript across the stack
  • Excellent JavaScript fundamentals (non-negotiable)
  • Experience working on complex, production systems
  • Exposure to system design and architecture decisions

Why this role

  • Ownership of a business-critical trading platform
  • Opportunity to influence architecture and engineering standards
  • Work on complex, non-trivial frontend challenges
  • Join a high-calibre, senior engineering team
  • Long-term, stable project with real impact

Please note the employer is unable to offer any sponsorship for this position. xwzovoh
