Lynx Recruitment is partnering with a leading consulting organisation to appoint a Business Improvement Manager to support the delivery of complex, technology-enabled transformation programmes.

This is a high-impact role where you will link strategy to tangible outcomes, leading structured improvement initiatives across enterprise environments.

You will play a key role in translating strategic objectives into measurable operational improvements, combining process re-engineering, analytical rigour, project delivery, and change management expertise.

The role sits within a growing Business Improvement function and offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and large-scale transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate strategic goals into deliverable improvement roadmaps
  • Lead process re-engineering and redesign initiatives
  • Conduct structured analysis and root-cause assessment
  • Manage integrated delivery plans spanning process, technology, and change
  • Influence senior stakeholders with credible, evidence-led recommendations
  • Support software-enabled transformation programmes
  • Embed KPIs and track benefits realisation

Essential Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • A minimum 2:1 in an IT / Technology-related degree
  • Strong capability within the Business Improvement discipline, with the ability to connect strategy to outcomes
  • Proven experience in process re-engineering/design
  • Experience across project and change management
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capability
  • Gravitas and impact — confident engaging xwzovoh senior stakeholders with humble authority
  • Flexibility and resilience in evolving, high-change environments
  • Knowledge of software development and SDLC — not hands-on coding, but confident discussing software delivery, terminology, and lifecycle exposure (for example, supporting improvement on programmes delivering new systems)

Desirable:

  • Exposure to business development or growth initiatives
