Role Overview

We’re currently working with a leading contractor within the social housing sector who are looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to support delivery across planned works and refurbishment programmes. This is a key role acting as the bridge between residents, site teams, and the client, ensuring works are delivered smoothly with minimal disruption and a strong focus on customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout planned works programmes
  • Provide clear communication around timelines, works, and potential disruption
  • Arrange and attend resident meetings, drop‑ins, and home visits
  • Support vulnerable residents during works
  • Manage and resolve complaints and queries, escalating where required
  • Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and housing teams
  • Assist with access arrangements and scheduling
  • Monitor works on‑site to ensure standards and resident respect are maintained
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and resident engagement reports

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer / Tenant Liaison Officer / Housing or Customer‑Facing role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience handling complaints and difficult conversations
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office / systems)
  • Full UK xwzovoh Driving Licence
